First off I would like to say please excuse the quality of the image. I took it with my phone using one of those apps I got from play store but its the best quality. Also bare with me cause I know that this coin isn't in its best shape or condition so I am not hoping that I found a big one. But I found this coin in my purse and it has some rounded marks around his head on the obvrse. If anyone has time to look it over and let me know if I found anything worth keeping that would be great thanks.

If you are talking about the circular marks, they were caused by a coin rolling machine.

Makes me wonder where your purse has been ;-)
Excessive environmental damage.

It's only an error if it was done during the minting process.
Anything done after that such as yours is just damage.
As mentioned, probably from a coin wrapping or rolling machine.
Still worth 5 cents though.

This is Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). The damage was caused by a Coin Wrapping Machine.
