Looks like a RDV-004 1909 plain no VDB. Very circulated Maybe a G-8?

Common 1909P wear is at a AG3, barely legible date, no feathering on wheat ears.

It's unfortunately a very worn down coin. It was in circulation for many years.

Chavez, I do not see initials on the reverse. I noticed the shoulder images and wondered if that stemmed from the initial debate on the 1919 post? The initials on the shoulder there was a clue that suggested it was a 1919.

1909 was the only year initials were added to the reverse. Part way through the year they were removed. In 1918 the initials were added back to the design, but placed on the obverse under the shoulder. So no need to look for them on the 1909 shoulder. Thanks, Doug.
