Hi I'm new here. I have a quarter that is a light metal blue non magnetic. Almost sounds like a silver coin. Wondering why and what could be struck on.trying to post pics but having problems
If it is real, then you should be able to see the copper layer on the edge of the coin. If it is fake or plated/altered, it won't have that copper color on the edge of the coin.
It's real on the edge of it is reeded but looks, and sounds like sliver one does. Is there another coin that weighs 6.8 grams? When you look at closer it looks like it was stamped.over another coin.
