I don't see a double ear listed on wexlers for that year but it does kind of look like some other doubled ears. It also looks like the example listes that shows doubling on the rty of liberty but because of the wear on the coin I def couldn't say for sure. I'm curious to see what other opinions you get about it.

I can see some Die Deterioration on "IGWT", and the other devices. I'm not seeing a Doubled Die Obverse. It looks like it might be from a worn die issue. I'm not saying that I'm correct, but just my good guess. Others will chime in, and will probably give you a better answer later.

Upon further research, I still think it could be the minor DD of the RTY but the ear is from MD which is pretty evident on some of the upper devices. If you look up examples of MD on ears youll find pics that match exactly.

Pending a pic of the rev, your coin may have a bit of MAD too.

Looks like a normal large date, with die wear Machine Doubling on ear and RTY. Contact damage. Just been out there a long time.

Just looked again and there is a rim Cud on the obverse. (Missed that last pass as I was looking at the devices)

There is strong Die Deterioration on the outer lettering. The ear has a contact mark, I don't see any doubling there. The rim either has rim finning or a rim Cud.
