Trying to identify this coin and the closest I can find is this: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces124761.html
The coin is about 11x11 mm. Dont really think the writing fits.
Is it the right coin?

Bundi and Nawanager made square coins, but I don;t think these are matches. I agree you need to look through India for this coin.

Your coin is a Mamluk fractional dirham, following the tradition established by the Ayyubids. The fractional dirhams were produced with full-dirham dies on tiny flans, meaning that only a small portion of the legends appear on any finished coin. They were produced by a number of Mamluk rulers. It may not be possible to specifically attribute your example.
