Hi everyone
Ok this coin caught my eye. It has a very shiny bright front but when you turn it over it is very dull(not like it has been rubbed off but just dull)

Maybe the obverse side was sitting flat, when the reverse side saw more circulation somehow? I don't know for sure on this one, but others will give you a better answer. This shall be an interesting discussion.

Maybe it laid on 1 side for a long time. And the environment, or whatever it was. Affected one side more than the other?

or maybe in sat in a folder for some time. That protected the reverse while the obverse was exposed to the air and maybe handling.

It is PMD, not a mint error.
