Morgan dollar specialist here.  VAMWorld.com is the best place to get info. They will be changing websites soon due to wikispaces closing, but they will still be online and on a different web server by August 15.

I have a 1878 Morgan with some doubling. Just wanted to know what the experts think. I will post with photos.

Definitely some doubling. You will need to post a full obverse and reverse image if you want to know the VAM number, however.
