I found a penny while walking. It is all silver (zink) no copper. It also has stricking errors one on top front and another bottom back. Is this a collectable penny or just one with common errors? *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***Edited by vetbill 08/14/2018 09:47 am

Hi vetbill To the CCF We are probably going to need pictures of the obverse and reverse to see what you have.

@vetbill, yes of course pics will be needed to confirm what you have there, but I will say that stripping off the copper plating and sandwiching one coin in between two others to partly transfer the design onto that middle coin are both pretty easy ways to create a fake error. I'm hoping that this isn't what you have there, but it may very well be.
In addition to posting pics of both sides, could you also please post a weight? Thx.

A close up photo would help.

Now that I have figured out how to get closeups, the post will not let me place the pics. It has been over 24hrs. Also, I will have to go to another city to find someone that will weigh the coin. Thankss everone ffor your help and suggestions.

Put the pictures in a new post in the same thread. You don't have to edit your original post. Please put them in the same thread don't start a new one.
