@Yunier7910, I agree that the copper plating on this coin has developed a nice toning. As this coin is only about 10 years old, it most likely had some help along the way--either through heat, chemical/environmental exposure, or both. Of course keep this cent if you like, but there isn't really a premium for this coloration so it can be safely spent.

Quote: What does it mean? It means the OP has fat fingers or a cracked screen on his/her smartphone. My translation was "the other pennies"

Attractive toning on a massively common cent. A spender to me.

This is called toning. Environmental Damage can cause the metal to change colors over time.
Errers and Varietys.

It has nice eye appeal. If I found it I would keep it. It may be common now,but not so common in the future because zincons are not "forever".By the way, please crop photos before posting. Thanks. John1

Toning, not a mint error. Caused by exposure to the environment.

Over the years searching coin rolls--mostly cents but others too--I've come across some eye-popping toned pennies. I imagine some were deliberately treated in a way to make them toned, with the majority appearing to be unforced, natural occurrences. I save the best because I like them, not because I feel I'm gonna get rich selling them for $500 a pop. I must have 600-700 hundred, and the collection is growing.
