coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/24/2018 7:13 pm I wouldn't call it a weak strike. More of a lack of spreading the metal issue. It happens a lot. Very common. Think how the metal has to move around. Yet on plated coins it is less common, but does happen that the plating gets split. I guess we are the ones more concerned about what the strike looks like.
