This one isn't in great shape, the split in the center is open aout 40% through. The scans I did on the printer, not sure it's the best method to post pictures...thoughts? advice? value? open to all. Thanks everyone!

That split in the center is less than I thought, it's only 5/16" in from bottom edge.

It's a problem note, swipe left and keep looking.

I certainly do not want to discourage a fellow collector ever.

Keep in mind that the Series 1899 Black Eagle was printed and issued for over 20 years, while some signature combinations might be tougher to locate.

In my opinion this probably the second most common large size silver certificate design with the succeeding Series 1923 George Washington silver certificate being the most common.

No need to settle for a problem note when there are plenty without issues to choose from.

Sounds about right, but finding a buyer wouldn't be easy. If you don't already own this, keep looking.

Fr. 235, G-VG...I'd think it would be more than $35.
