This is a generic circulated 1944 shell case Lincoln. It has what appears to be a minor rim Cud at 4:00 on the reverse. It looks to me a lot like CU-1c-1944-15R Rim Cud, and it looks like it has the right wheat stalk die crack diagnostic, though very weakly. The Cud appears to be a little bit larger than the one on cuds-on-coins, so I'm wondering if it might be a later stage of that Cud.

Thoughts?

Here are the obligatory mug shots:

1944-Lincoln-Cent---Cu-1c-1944-15r-Rim-Cud?

1944-Lincoln-Cent---Cu-1c-1944-15r-Rim-Cud?

And the closeup of the rim Cud:

1944-Lincoln-Cent---Cu-1c-1944-15r-Rim-Cud?

And the closeup of the weak, barely visible die crack:

1944-Lincoln-Cent---Cu-1c-1944-15r-Rim-Cud?

I'd appreciate any input on this one.

Thanks!

Hmm, the die crack looks like it isn't a great match for direction, although it is in the right spot. Have you reached out to JC to see if maybe yours isn't listed yet?
