Super coins especially like the Osuna..Great detail and lovely colouring..

One question..What books or downloadable references would you recommend for someone wanting to start collecting Iberian coins?

Thanks Paul

ACIP by L.Villaronga and J. Benages is by far the best book. Very comprehensive.

La Moneda Hispanica by Burgos is a good book too.

Pere P. Ripolles has many papers published online. Many can be found at Academia.edu
He's just great.

I hope you get started collecting some. Post them here if you do.

The Spanish auction sites always have some. Deals can be found.

The classic reference by Aloiss Heiss (1870), Description generale des monnaies antiques de l'Espagne can be downloaded free in a variety of formats at books.google.com and similar sites.

Thanks you guys

And thanks for that link Kushanshah.

I have wanted to get that book, but it's hard to find and very expensive.

There is an atlas of the books plates printed in English, published in 1976 by Ares Publishers Inc. intro by Barclay V. Head.

These drawings of the coins are exquisite.

@Doucet You're quite welcome. Virtually anything originally published before 1927, such as the BMC catalogues, can be found online and downloaded for free. My favorite sites are books.google.com, archive.org and hathitrust.org.
