Here is the third of the three nice Morgans from that purchased collection. I appreciate all your comments and grading opinions.

A good shot at 64 I think. Another beautiful example.

Cheek appears to have slight contact marks. 64 here too. Nice eye appeal.

At least 64.

That carbon spot/crud at 12 o'clock on the reverse needs to be PROFESSIONALLY mitigated ASAP. It needs to be removed without altering the beautiful toning. If the spot can't be removed without damaging the toning then leave the spot on it.

Very nice coin!

This looked like a job for Verdi-Care! I put a drop of Verdi-Care on the spot, waited an hour or two, then gently poked the spot with a toothpick and dabbed with a tissue. No more spot!

PS: this is actually the 1890-S Morgan. The toning for the 1897-S and 1890-S coins from this collection is so similar I got the thumbnails mixed up when I saved the files.

I don't think the potential value of this coin justifies certification so I did not send it in to PCGS with the other two Morgans from the same collection. Definitely a nice coin though. If interested, it's up for sale on ebay with a $40 opening bid. Four days to go!
