Yep, as the title states - my small order from Aydin Coin showed up today. Got my Predatory Canada coin for the series and 2 ASE's (2018) - the one to update the Dansco!! I love ordering from them as I NEVER had a spotted coin and never had to return anything - NO, not associated with them, just pleased. Aydin never sent me bad coins - BUT gotta wait for their specials. Oh yeah - sentimental value - I found that on a side table next to my dad's chair where he sat while watching TV when I cleaned their house out after he passed - that wrench will NEVER leave where it is at On my computer table!

The sentimental value for your dad's things is admirable. That wrench looks like it has a lot of history and memories behind it.

If you bought from your local coin shop, I assume you looked at the coins and didn't see the milk spots either. Not sure you can blame them. Did they do an exchange?

Nice coins, Mark -- I like seeing ASEs in a Dansco like that. And I'll have to check out Aydin. I'm mostly a JMB guy but at the end of the day it's all about the best deal + best quality, even (especially?) when dealing with that grey area between bullion and numismatic. What I mean by that is if I'm truly going to stack silver, I stack rounds and bars where I get the best deal (lowest price over spot per ounce). I do collect ASE bullion as well, but I tend to collect only one or two a year as the markups are much higher for ASEs than for generic rounds and bars and such. As a result, they mainly end up in my albums. Which means while they're intended to be investment quality, they're mostly numismatic for me. This post should probably go in the US:NCLT or Precious Metals forums.

Quote: I do collect ASE bullion Everynow and then - yes - Aydin is a touch high on the spot but coins are spot free - That's all I got to say!

I also think those Eagles look great in your album.
I'm going to give Aydin coin a look. Thanks!

Quote: I'm going to give Aydin coin a look. Thanks! Yeah, I learned the hard way. I kept getting milk spot ASE's from alot of bullion sellers for a cheap price but 5.99 S&H - returning was a pain, but with Aydin I've never had a bad coin. BUT , you gotta wait for their specials - just sayin!

I checked out their website and it looks good. I will take your advice and wait for specials. I am trying to fill an album with problem-free ASEs and I have found it difficult finding a good source for them, so this is some great info for me. Thank you

They are over $3 per round more than Provident, who routinely beats all other vendors in price. Nothing wrong tho with sticking with what you know.

Quote: Provident, I usually only am able to buy a few coins at a time so with Provident the 5.95 shipping usually equals out the price.
