This is my first post. The 82 looks different from my other quarters so I included the 85p for comparisons. What can you tell me about my coins?

I think what you're asking is that it's a little smaller? Check and see if it still has the reeding on the edge or if the edge is thicker than the '85. It could be slightly spooned or an early Dryer Coin. Others may have better opinions

It is hard to see, but the 85p has a clear p on it. The 82 has a mark on it but it is small and the edges of the unidentifiable mark are crisp and clear like it was minted that way, and it is a little off center.

The smaller bust on the '82 is typical.

Remarkably though there is an '85-P with what appears to be a small bust and a large bust. The distance between the "B" in "Liberty" and Washington's head is greater on the "sm bust". It accounts for less than 1% of production and is very elusive in higher grades.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.
