I CRH alot, so I pick up a load of pre-1960 (1938-1959) jeffersons. I have around $28 worth of them already rolled and wanted to know the value of them as a lot. It would include all of the aformentioned dates minus the silver years. There are plenty of MM's including a good number of 'S' mint jeffersons. I looked around a bit but can't find a difintive answer so anything you can provide is much appreciated!
Thanks! GC

It depends a lot on condition. John1

Also certain dates and mints are worth a little more than the common ones . It would be hard to put a value on such a set . But a ballpark figure would be about $35 .

Condition is key. If they are obviously circulated they are worth face value.

As an unsorted bulk wholesale lot, I would say 6-7 cents each, depending on how much of the lot is post-1955. If you have any key dates or anything XF or above, I would sell those separately.

Agree. Without info on MMs and conditions, it would be difficult to value them much higher.

Want about $20 more? I have in the past sold bulk lots of 200, but because of the weight, shipping makes prices too high, I wind up breaking a not even, if not a loss. Lesson learned, keep the keys and lower mintages, there are a few that seem harder to come by when building sets, and depends on area you're in. I had trouble getting the 1955 & 1958 PS, and only twice had a key date (@500k+ searched). I'm in USA central. And TBop knows, I tried for over a year to sell sets of 63/65, missing just two key dates...never did. Gave away as prizes eventually. Do I save them? Only til I've searched for Varieties and RPMs, then off into the bank dump bag.

I've sold them in 25-40 roll lots where they could be shipped in a small flat rate box or flat rate padded mailer (well secured) at a nice enough profit to make it worth while. But then again, you have to be willing to let them pile up for awhile.

Pre 1960 common Jeffersons will bring 7 cents each at one of the major wholesale buyers. The problem is you need to have enough to justify the shipping costs.

I've sold many sans silver sets, although they end @ '62. Without folder or album,
they bring 15.-60; depending on condition & continuity. Nothing distracts me more,
is an F set w/a BU '50D.

The key dates are worth selling alone for some premium ... depending on condition as stated above - the remainder are worth face value.
By key dates I'm referencing the 9 Jefferson with less than 10 million annual mintage - a quick internet search will find them for you so do a bit of homework for yourself in addition to our advise.

Condition, mints & varieties all play a roll. Any silver ones?
