I just bought this one, haven't gotten it in the mail but the seller left good pics. Judging by Photograde, I would say a 58. What do y'all think? Thanks

A 58 would still have luster and only a hint of wear. On this coin, Lincolns ear is blended with the hair from wear, and the cheekbone/jaw are nearly flat.
I would say XF 40.
It is still quite an attractive coin with very nice color
I wonder if that's permanent marker to the left of Lincolns head, might be worth a dip in acetone to take that off.

I agree, EF-40 tops, based primarily on the lack of detail on the ear and surrounding areas. When I was a kid many would have graded this VF-35.

Thanks guys I'm not a coin grader that's why I wanted to ask. What do you guys think about the mint mark?

MM looks good. I'm at XF-45. Except for that purple mark, I'd love to have that in my collection.

EF40 but no RPM, close only good in horseshoes and hand grenades! Interesting to note, there must have been a bad punch tool, notice the upper serif area on both these.

Crazy, I was looking at that photo and the angle of the image is slightly different on the stage b pic. Your trick works better on that pic. We'll see when I get it, I have had a great record with these recently! Thanks for the comments guys I learned To pay better attention to the cheek and ear on this post!

Original, nice. Could go VF35 or XF40. I agree to try and that purple stain off with an acetone bath
