Wow look at this guy selling Peace dollars on ebay:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZ1000oaksclare

When did a 1922 become a key date for this set?

http://cgi.ebay.com/U-S-COINS-1922-...AR_W0QQitemZ280244893410QQihZ018QQcategoryZ11980QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Sadly, this seller throws around key date like the entire set is rare and also puts bogus inflated prices on the coin flips to make people think they are getting a steal. When will the general public wake up? Sad...

I have seen this seller and agree that this is a sales tactic which inflates prices/expectation. The best thing to do is research similar dates on ebay/other sites to get realistic prices.

Yep I just checked on toolhaus.org to see what his negatives/neutrals were and lookie here:

happy with shipping >> not happy with Deceiving pictures and price on picture.

seller should not be allowed to put a price on the flip it's very misleading!!

Don't believe the retail prices he puts on the holder $60.00 was barely $14.00

BUYER BEWARE! THIS SELLER WRITES HIGH PRICES ON 2X2's OF WORN OUT COINS. BEWARE!

STOP! highly NOTrecommended.Coin appraised for $12. NO RETURN POLICY.

Exagerated description! Blast white gem it was not! Try being realistic.

Thanks for the fast delivery, but the coin was far from a gem! Badly marked !

It's sad that some people are so desparate to make money or are just downright greedy that they feel it's ok to have tactics like this. This is one case where the new ebay feedback system works well since buyers can leave disparaging remarks without getting anything in retaliation.

well about ebay's new policy, I just sold a nextel phone on ebay and the auction ended Sunday, by Monday the guy started emailing me asking for a tracking number and by Tuesday he threatened me with a negative if I didn't give him his Phone. I wrote him back and told him in the description it states I would mail it out within 2 days of auction end and I did and anything short of me carrying it on a jet to his house there was no way he would have the phone in 2 days when I clearly stated it would be sent first class mail and would take from 2-5 days in the mail once it was shipped

I was talking to a friend about this and he suggested that calling a coin a key date when it's not a key date by common definition is purposely misleading the buying public. Do you guys agree?
