@Jbedwell, are you thinking that this is a RPM? If so, have you looked on the variety vista website? Your coin looks most like 1962-D RPM-008 to me, but I am far from an expert on these so hopefully others will weigh in.

The letter B in LIBERTY looks flattened from a hit.

Looks more like a chip to me. It doesn't appear like a design from the punch.

My first thought was a RPM (Repunched Mint Mark), which it could be a minor one, but the thingy at the bottom of the mint mark could be a very small Die Chip.

If you can, get a better pix getting rid of the shadow where I'm pointing. Need to see right at the base of the MM where it hits the field. No shadows or glare and clear and close as possible. The another pix like this, making the date horizontal and in like size.
