Maybe on ebay to some unsuspecting newbie, but post BEP errors often turn newcomers away from the hobby.

I'd either keep it as a conversation piece, or spend it.

Under magnification can you see any remaining eight digit or smeared ink.

Just looking at his picture in full screen, it almost looks like I can see the top of a 3 on both of blank spots.

I enlarged that area and yes I can see the remainder of a "3"...looks like the area was rubbed...maybe with a solvent.
