Well, the 1884 25 cent trends for over $200 Cdn, just in VG (which is pretty worn). I would imaginne a great many of them would be just scrap silver .. each face dollar is .6 troy oz of silver, so each dollar face worth $14.25 X .6 = $8.50 US or $11 Cdn. Nice gift.
