I found this while coin roll hunting. Is this a man made clip or a mint error?

What does the edge look like on it on that area. Is rough, then probably cut. But a better image would be helpful. With the metal flowing over the edge of the coin, it does look suspicious. Also the devices are not showing weakness on the areas facing the rim.

Usually clips are rounded and would fit the same type of coin.

There are straight clips too, not to be a smarty pants but I think those come from planchets that were punched out at the edge of the sheets they make the blanks from. ( I could be wrong )

Haha Crazy, you beat me to it but the coin in question does not look good to me.
