Going a little older Seller's attribution is somewhat suspect, further research is required so this might get changed on my photos later Pretty pastel colors, especially reverse

Nice additions otto, paralyse, GLB49 and HumblePie! @HumblePie, I'm not much on special holders, but that is an attractive one for the ASE.

Quote: Nice additions GLB49 Thanks, hokiefan_82. Except for a couple of British coins all of the plastic holders I have are ASE. I like the flag labels.

I have quite a few die varieties and die errors in my type sets, but until this point no striking errors or planchet errors. I've recently decided to start putting together a very basic set of these types of errors. These are the first three I picked up. I'd also like to at least add a wrong planchet error, multi-strike, broadstrike, die cap, brockage, and a clipped planchet to the set. Probably not a whole lot more than that, but we'll see. When I go off on a new adventure I invariably do more than originally planned .

Thanks, hokiefan. Are these error coins typically very expensive (compared to the "regular" version)? Edit to add: I am typically not charmed by "error" coins, but the off-center quarter is rather beautiful. It is like Washington admiring the moon.

It is like Washington admiring the moon. Averaged well less than $200 each, but to be honest I didn't shop around so I likely overpaid. They showed up together in the inventory of one of my regular dealers and it was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment purchase. I'd been wanting to start getting a few examples, and thought "what the heck..". That off-center quarter is probably my favorite of the three!
