Khromtau Pillar of the Community United States 680 Posts	Posted 07/25/2023 9:39 pm I got a 2021 Niue (I asked for Tokelau bullion coins but I guess this is all they had, just realized it is not Tokelau and is another small island nation) 1 oz turtle bullion coin earlier. It appears to be somewhere in between a proof and reverse proof, the Queen's bust is polished on the obverse, while none of the rest of the obverse is, and the turtle on the reverse is polished along with the field behind the word turtle. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces68777.html Report this Post to the Staff

I find it quite interesting, as well. As a kid I was always fascinated by the '43 zinc-plated steel cents just because the zinc color looked so peculiar on a cent.
