I seem to have had a glut of silver recently which is unusual for me here.
From a dealer who calls occasionally and all for a little over melt:
France 1 Franc #844.1 1917, 1918 and 2 Francs #845.1 1915
Germany 5 Reichsmark #94 1937G

And from a friend just returned from South Africa. Deal to be negotiated but the gem has to be the Southern Rhodesia one:
Southern Rhodesia 3 Pence #1 1932
Zuid Afrika Republik 3 Pence #3 1895 and 1 Shilling #5 1892

@stevex6: That bracelet wasn't priceless, it was $28/troy oz. And it was already damaged. But if you send your lady friend over for a few days, I can teach her how to repair it

mysilveryears-

Methinx stevex6 was performing a popular Tent Revival "Miracle" known as "Extending the Gam".

There ain't no "Bracelet of Tmansturain", priceless, worthless or otherwise.

Okay, photos of a couple of the ones I got today:

1910 Sixpence:

1910 is my fiancee's grandfather's birth year, so I felt a certain obligation to procure the coin.

The 1857-O Seated Half:

This is my very first Seated half dollar, my first seated liberty coin, and my first New Orleans mark all in one coin. Very happy about it.

The 1987 Canadian Specimen set:

1987 is my fiancee's birth year and I feel like I got a pretty good deal on the set at $2 for it. 1987 is also the year Canada introduced the Loonie, which isn't part of this set, which is pretty neat.

I'm going to a coin show tomorrow and am thinking of trying to snag some silver Balboas. Does anyone know the junk silver value of a Balboa or a half Balboa ? Thanks !

haha nice! my year is 1989, lost out on a nice set a few days ago from that year

nope I got it from ebay, this one US seller has a lot of his auctions ending right now, some good deals on sets. 1.11 ASW here, so at $28/oz I only pais $5 over spot :)

and about the portrait, that is my favorite one of the queen
