I picked up this 1890 Seated Liberty dime yesterday from the junk silver bin at my coin dealer. I was so excited at the time. This is my first Seated Liberty and I got it for spot! My wife looked at it and said, "You can't even see what it is."

Ah, a coin only a coin collector could love.

Found this stash recently, but didn't think to put it up here.
A bunch of coins, and a telephone token from Thailand:

The scanner really highlights the dirt and damage...makes me wonder if acetone will do any good...

Picked up a UK 1862 half penny and an 1912 penny, was surprised by the size..as 52Raymo mentioned with his Canadian penny.

How old is that thar Byzantine?

... is that another ancient coin sitting beside it? (wow, that's quite a mish-mash of dates and countries, eh?)

=> I like it, chrsmat71!!

Its been a while since I have managed to find another addition to my collection. Yesterday broke that long dry period.

Off to hunt for the next one.
