An elderly lady (Miss Carol ) I call her, gave me this LMC . I have done some research , But come up with nothing like it. So sorry no reverse pics yet. Will have move pics of this very unusual penny. Some input on this one is needed. Thanks people.

What does it weight? Probably plated with something from a science class at school.

The only time "steel" cents were made was in 1943, and those were zinc coated steel.

In 1964 cents were made of an alloy of 95% copper and 5% zinc.

Your coin is plated. Plated coins are a frequent topic posted here.

That is correct but I believe some 1944 steel cents are known to exist .
Back to OP , try the magnet test , most likely it will just slightly lift up meaning it's plated ; or won't lift at all .

The reverse.non magnetic weight is 3.10.
