I thought it was a zinc bubble then noticed the round pressure rings around the mm. There is a popped bubble on his collar. Thanks in advance for any and all opinions/advice.

Can't be a mint mark. I'm thinking that's Zinc Rot corrosion setting in, on that area.

If you can push it flat with a fingernail or toothpick it's a plating issue.

The gray in the center tells me it is a split plating issue. The air started working on it making it rise. As the zinc rots, then then it will fall and become a crater. Keep it and watch the progress. Leave it out of a 2X2 to allow the oxygen to work on it. Take images once in a while to see it progress. But it wasn't struck that way.

Thanks for the advice Coop I will keep it out and watch its progress. I did press it with my thumbnail and it definitely seems to be a zinc bubble.

It just a matter of time. I've heard of exposing them to acid and watch them accelerate. But probably best to do this outdoors. Video it. That might be nice to see. (Or maybe not?)
