I thought I would share this. Yesterday, I was lucky enough to purchase these 3 coins for $35 total. Despite having holes, they are neat coins and the 1820 is an overdate to boot.

Not my thing, but they're all very clean otherwise!

I assuming they were either worn on a necklace or hung for good luck somewhere in a house.

Pretty attractive otherwise, and hard to beat the price. I wonder if it would be worth getting them repaired? I've seen some detail coins with filled holes that don't look too bad.

Cheap way of getting a Bust Half - even if they are only a space filler in a type collection.

So still have some value.

Ugh... I'm not interested at any price but I respect that there are holed coins collectors.

I know there is a dealer that specializes in holed coins so apparently there is a market.

Gasp I even have one in my collection.

Yes it is. 1820/19 I mentioned that in the original post as well.

sounds like a good deal! There's a market for holed early coins if you want to flip them.

And what is really a shame is they all have holes on both sides.
