I have heard the term, "Full Bust" but have no idea what that applies to. What, if anything does that mean? Is there a denomination that this term applies to?

Not really sure. How was the word "full bust" used? Possibly, did it have to do with the draped bust or capped bust coinage?

Nothing I know of on coins called that. Full bell lines on Franklin halves, full split bands on dimes. Full steps on Nickels. |

SilverDollar2017, I am guessing the same thing as you. Maybe used on Capped Bust coinage?
Errers and Varietys.

If I'm not mistaken it was used in describing a Lincoln Cent. I had seen that term used a couple of times on another forum but not on our forum here. It just crossed my mind and thought I would ask. I have a couple of cents that the bottom right of the bust almost touches the rim and was wondering if that is what they may have been describing? |

Maybe it was referring to a die clash with a full bust visible?  |

I would have guessed "Full Bust" was a description for the Dolly Madison Commemorative..  |

my theory is that it refers to a full statue of Lincoln sitting atop the stairs on the reverse of the coin. |
