@SIMS, first welcome to CCF. Second, after re-orienting, blowing-up, and enhancing your pic, I do see what you mean. There is a gouge on the drummer's right forearm as well as a scratch on the side of the drum. Both of these were caused after the coin was minted.

While there are some who still hoard bicentennial coins (I may have a small stash lying around here somewhere myself), so many were made that it seems unlikely that circulated specimens will ever be worth much more than face value. These two hits on your coin won't improve the value.

Coin contact mark if it is incuse. Note how the metal makes a wave over the field of the coin and leaving a crater? PSD

Also I figured if it got hit by something it would probably pull the letter m in unum in towards the crater and his shirt is billowy so its hard to tell but hoping you could take a second look

If you imagine the same thing being wrong on the other arm a chunk missing there is a shirt cuff and its missing the metal right there so it could look like ripples from something hitting it but I'm pretty sure its just the edge of the shirt cuff

It's nice when you see these quarters all come together:

That's extremely common for these bicentennial quarters. Most are missing the bottom of the arm and a good amount of the drum, probably due to worn dies.
