Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 74707 Posts	Posted 10/18/2018 01:54 am On the 8, that's Post Strike Damage ( PSD), meaning that it happened after it left the U.S. Mint. You can see the pushed over and flattened metal on the number 8. Since it's just a damaged coin, it's only worth face value. Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff

Second, when I rotate, blow-up, and enhance the date, the picture becomes a little too pixelated to tell for sure, but I suspect that E&V was right about it being damage.
