I'm thinking that this is a very small rim to rim Lamination. A Die Crack wouldn't have a rough and flaky texture. A Die Crack would be raised.
Errers and Varietys.

Are you sure that this isn't a very small rim to rim Lamination error? I would like other members to chip in, to see what they think. We won't know for sure what it is, until later.

I'm casting my vote with E&V on this one. It's flaky appearance does that for me.

I'm not exactly sure what it is - but heres my thoughts, i think it is too straight to be a die crack. its almost a perfectly straight line, like someone scratched it.
but then it does have the slight appearance of a lamination

A straight line surface abrasion was my first thought as well. That said, images may be misleading my perception a bit. Thanks, Doug.

IMO it's a scratch. Some pics with the lighting from different angles would help me make up my mind.

Die cracks can be straight if they are from a sudden failure. In this case I have my doubts to it being a die crack. It just seems to be too much of a coincidence that the O the N the T and wheat all seem to show depressions like damage where ever the line crosses them. A lamination might show that but to have a depression every place where a crack crosses a raised feature seems too much to believe.

Thanks to all masters for chime in. When you have a coin on your hand you would see. Pictures sometimes is make you confuse for all the lighting angles. It hard to believe a die crack going straight like that. I will look over it again and get a better pics. Thanks again guys

It's certainly not a die crack. It is either a scratch or very minor lamination due to how weak the line is

Looks like a small lamination - they can be raised like die cracks too.

Looks like a rim to rim lamination. The edge is peeling a bit and shows all across the coin. Very little premium for this. Most of the time they break a sale as they are not a great coin to a true coin collector. To an error collector they are fairly common. So a small premium if any.
