Hi,

This is the other ancient coin I bought at my local coin shop. I was just labeled "ancient". Its very small, smaller than dime. Weighs 1.6 grams. I dont know if the two coins are from the same area or not. The first one (in my other thread) Looks like Vasishka Gobl 1011. Any ideas on this smaller one?
Thank you!

Looks Islamic. Unless KushanShah can work his magic, I don't think much more can be said of this one.

Definitely Islamic - rotate the bottom picture 90 degrees clockwise, and the Arabic words for "struck in" are clearly visible. Unfortunately, that doesn't help much with the ID unless we can actually read which city or province it was "struck in", though with that style of writing, "Ottoman" is as good a guess as any.
