Well folks, this one may take the cake........... NGC xf45 1947 dot. Not only is the grade way off, but tell me if I'm not seeing the dot.

If there is a dot, I cannot see it in that picture. I guess you are just supposed to believe the label.

Buy the slab, not the coin!

I can't see it either, but it's not the best of pics. How about a larger shot of the date?

There might be the smallest semblance of a dot if you look closely but it certainly is not one I would buy as a 47 Dot. I would want to see it without the use of a magnifying glass.

I'd say that's a VF35 at best , the dot is questionable with these pics.

Nice of the seller to mention what an AU50 goes for. It has no bearing on the price this well-circulated, possibly no dot coin, but it's the thought that counts.

Looks like someone wire brushed this one...I would just buy the slab on this one and give back the coin.

VF-20 cleaned. Although this about what I expect most US tpgs consider "light, old market acceptable" cleaning.

VF and should receive a details grade for what I consider a pretty harsh cleaning.
