So in a twist on the usual story of finding grandpa or dad's old coins in the attic, yesterday I found my own! Probably pulled these from circulation between 18 and 22 years ago. Getting ready to move after 11 years in our condo and found an old plastic tote of stuff that probably hadn't been unpacked in 2 moves rooting around inside found a little box, popped the top and hit silver (also nickel)! A "V" nickel (no date), some nice buffalos, a few dollars in silver Washingtons and Roosevelts, some "mercury" dimes. Not pictured is a couple of souvenir "coins" from Kennedy space center.  |

That's a pleasant surprise, finding something like this you had forgotten about over the years. What's your plan for them?

USSID18: I'll take a closer look for anything unique or more rare (back then I just grabbed silver or older patterns and didn't really research them) then just add them too the current stash. I hope my younger self didn't polish anything too valuable!
