Watching one of their recent shows for the first time in about 5 or 6 years, I noticed things had changed. The show is now ran by the Abel brothers, Tyler and Andy.

Of course they had their usual slabbed bullion and modern stuff but I noticed two deals that I thought were pretty darn good.

They were offering 10 $5 USNs for $90 and 10 F-VF large cents for $300. They also had 5 rolls of Ike dollars for $160.

I know the image of the Coin Vault on most sites like this is generally negative. However, I wanted to share with you some deals I thought were interesting.

Thanks! I've never watched them to know, but I do know they're the home shopping network of coins.

About 3 months or so ago, Coin Vault admitted on air that they clean their coins. I watch all the tv coin shows and if I see something I want I check around for different pricing. 99 times out of 100 I usually find the same coin(s) for a lot less money or about the same price. Now if you want to talk about a show host that is full of hot air and way, way, way overhypes his pricing, that would be Chopper on Coin and Collectibles tv. I bet, no I know, you can find Ikes elsewhere for a lot less...

Full retail prices.

That's better than twice retail prices, which is typically the best you can get from the TV hucksters.

Same here - I enjoy watching the shows just to see what's out there. It's fun to window shop, but I would never but anything. I think the worst part of these shows (including so-called reality shows like Storage Wars and Pawn Stars) are the hyperinflated values. It skews the whole industry.
