So it is the edges of the devices that area affected which = MD. Note on the bottom of the 'O' on ONE. See how the metal is pushed upwards on that lower area? (imagine using a snow plow, the snow getting pushed, doe it stay the same height? Not is pushes upwards) That is what I see there. MD can actually affect devices unequally. Even though they are very close to each other, each device is showing a different amount of MD.
