Can anyone help clarify what it is that I might have here?

What are you seeing? I see a normal coin, not a variety.

Maybe I asked the wrong question. I'm seeing strong doubling of the 8 the date (much stronger than the 001 or 002) and extra thickness and spread (nw to se) in the letters in the word trust (shift in direction ne/sw going counter clockwise evident in "GOD". Seems like all devices are spreading more or less towards the rim, but I need more and better pics.

Maybe the question should have been , can anyone out there confirm this as a DDO and give the number?

It looks to me like something damaged the coin, coincidentally making a "shelf" on the edge of the eight.

Idk guys...with coin in hand it sure doesn't look like a strike. Here's another pic with different lighting, but if your not convinced, your not convinced. As always I appreaciate the input.

Thanks Zoo. Tough sell because there's no established precedent... nevertheless it's pretty obvious what this is. Bigger than Dallas...

Also coin damage from circulation. Split plating on the mint mark. nothing here to keep. Spendable.
