Came across this, it's well worn but it also just doesn't feel right, being held I get the feeling it's a different metal, it also makes a very different sounding noise when dropped compared to any other cent from around this era, I do not know what to think, what are your thoughts?

For sure it has lost some mass because of chemical or environmental exposure and it certainly could have been an acid bath.

It's 100% Post Strike Damage. Dipping a coin in acid back then was a common practice.
