I wish I had an answer for you..there is a lot going on with that coin.My favorite part is what looks like a tongue sticking out under Pluribus. Ill be following to hear what the experts have to say:)

That's a shame. Nice Jefferson nickel, unfortunately it took a couple of hits. The movement of the metal under EPU looks like it's been moved from being struck by something. No expert but my vote is PMD.

Just a damaged Jefferson nickel, not an error. It's Post Strike Damage ( PSD).

Ok thx for the better pic of this region. This could also be damage or a flaw in the planchet such as a very minor lamination, although honestly I'm not sure. Considering the other hits that this coin has taken, it probably doesn't matter.

Looks like post minting damage on most places. The area between FIVE and STATES looks like a possible struck through or planchet flaw/delamination.

Also the die is showing evidence of extreme die wear. So not a keeper, unless you want a hole filler coin for your book to be replaced later with a better example.
