So I was staying with my grandparents over the weekend, and my grandma wanted me to roll up all of her change so she could take it to the bank to have spending money on an upcoming vacation.

I spent the next six hours after that rolling over 450$ worth of various change that has been accumulating in a cheese-ball bucket for almost 10 years. You all know I couldn't do all that without looking through all of it first. There was SO much good stuff! I ended up pulling

6 2009 commemorative Lincoln cents all stages were present!
10 wheat cents: 2 30's, 1 40's and 7 50's most of which had mint marks
15 US Territory quarters, at least one of each
3 pre 1960 nickels
6 canadian penny's
3 other foreign coins

It's been a very long time since I have sorted that much stuff so it was super fun to do it again. There was also a rogue Ike dollar but my grandfather immediately commandeered that for himself.

My sister has me do that when her 3' tall Coke bottle gets half to 3/4 full. It takes me at least half a day to sort and pick out what I want to take a closer look at later. Then it takes about 7 hours to count and wrap the rest. Each year it gets less and less fun

Both fun and a history lesson at the same time.
Plus you get what you want at face value.

Sience your Opa keep the Ike see what else he has tucked away.
Could be the begining of some fun times together.
Rest in Peace

TJLang, he's the one that got me into collecting in the first place. His collection is MASSIVE, everything I'm working on now, Washington quarters, Mercury dimes ETC he did from circulation. It's been fun over the year going to shows and looking through rolls together, we haven't done it in many years so it was a fun callback to it.
