Hello. I found this coin in Russia. In fact it is "hostage" here, because there's no legal opportunity to move in abroad. Due to this problem and also to that fact that demand for flowing hair in Russia is even less than zero, seller wants 60$.
So the question is - what is the reasonable price for this coin in US? If your think that this coin is not very attractive, you may imagine that you gunpointed. Ha!

It was plain?
What is "pole variety"? I can't find any photos of any edges of flowing hair Half Cents in google. I also would like to see how lettering looks like, but also nothing.

Looking quickly to my 2018 Red Book, the design (head facing right) was minted from 1794-1797. The coin is not the pole to cap variety as pictured in Red Book. Values in A.G. (Readable date not required per Red Book) Per Red Book range from $200-350. While Red Book values are never up to the minute current, they do give an order of magnitude for rough estimate purposes.
So it looks like it is worth the $60 being asked. The question is whether you want a coin without a date. I am not sure what I would do. I have always been interested in having a coin from the 1700s just to have a coin that old. But without a date, no one can tell it's from the 1700s but someone with the knowledge to identify it. Here in the U.S. I'd probably pass on this one and hold out for a readable date in G-4 which would have a Red Book value in the $450-$500 range, which is much more than the $60 price being asked. So it comes down to how much do you want it? If you do buy it for $60 you will be getting a very good price.

1795 C-6 If it is on rolled stock (84 grains) it is 6a, if it is on cut down cent planchets (100 to 124 grains) it is 6b.
If it is a 6a it is rarity 2 common and worth maybe $100 retail. If it is the cent stock then it is a Rarity 6 Very Rare and worth maybe $400 to $500.

Normally the Liberty cap Half Cents have a pole supporting the cap, that runs from the cap over her left shoulder, passing in front of the bust, and ending close the denticals. On one die in 1795 and one die in 1796 this pole was omitted. Hence the pole and no pole varieties. In 1795 the no pole obverse was paired with two difference reverse dies, varieties C-5 and C-6. The 1796 no pole was paired with a single reverse die that was different from the two used in 1795. The reverse on this coin told me it was the 1795 C-6.

We need a "like" button. Kidding, but so much to learn here.
