Do you think this was caused by a late stage die or greasy strike through? Which is more popular/valuable among collectors? How do you tell the difference?

Caused by Die Deterioration (late die state). Note how the devices are stretched toward the rims and show metal flow lines.

with a late die state. May be seeing some MD in the mix. What catches my eye is similarities seen often from the 1985 Denver mint. Some known from Philly as well. Explained by experts better in the previous topics linked below.

When I see false rims especially on both sides opposite each other. I always ask myself, "Self, is the diameter and edge, be it with or without reeds normal?" Thanks, Doug.
