Not sure if they are anything or not since I don't have books yet. I found a 1942 Jefferson nickel3 wheat pennies, one of then looks to be in almost new condition and is a 1955 S, probably nothing but it's only the second S mint I've seen on all the coins I've searched the past few days and I've searched ALOT! LOL Also found a couple other wheaties 1956 and a 1923. Also I know this isn't worth anything but got a 1982 peso. I also found a $20 bill serial number 00040579 is it worth keeping? Is the 1922 cent a D mint?

The 1942 Jefferson would be worth saving -- silver content=90% If the '22 is a D, it could be worth a lot

Sorry guys meant to post 1923 wheatie not 1922. Is there anyway to edit a post after posting it?
From your reactions looks like I want to find a 1922! LOL

Quote: The 1942 Jefferson would be worth saving -- silver content=90% It's actually 35% silver and has a silver weight of 0.5626oz As of today it's worth $0.97

Quote: Also found a couple other wheaties 1959 and a 1922. The 22 is a VERY good find, put it in a 2x2 or a flip if it is not already. Please post some pics of it for further analysis. In the post you mention you have a 1959 wheatie. If the 1959 has the wheat reverse it would be an error possibly worth thousand of dollars since the Wheat penny was discontinued in 1958. -PP

Okay it's late here and I can't type right tonight. LOL
I promise this is the last mistake I made in my post. The other wheatie I found is a 56 not a 59. Sorry for the mistake. I also posted that the other isn't a 22 it's a 23.
I don't know if it's the time of night or if it's the fact that after looking at coins for hours each day the last few days all dates are running together.

Oh! didn't see you correct yourself on the 1922 penny. Keep us posted on the 1959 penny!
The 1942 nickel may not be silver since the metalic content was changed midway through production of that year. You can by the location of the mintmark. (silver-above monticello on reverse) A good find worth between 10-90 cents depending on metal content. -PP
