@ACK, first welcome to CCF. Second, it looks like you are having some issues with posting your pics. Here is a link to the tutorial:

Ok that last attempt worked! It looks a little like someone dripped solder onto the coin. Can you tell if it is an integral part of the coin or added? Perhaps looking at the edge would help. I see a gouge at about 7 o'clock--what does that show? Also, please add an overall pic of the rev of this coin. Thx!

Looks like solder or something similar that has been put on the coin
and another cent pressed into it.
Whatever it is, it's PMD as it didn't happen during the striking of the coin.

I don't believe this is damage it happened after it was minted this metal seems to be an intricate part of the coin you can also ee IBER of Liberty indented in the metal. I check with a magnet and it's not attracted in any way that makes me believe it's not solder I'll send pictures of the side of coin once I get home from work

A side view will show us more. If the copper plating is on the edge, it is something on the coin. Also a full image of the reverse as well. Weight. See what happened? Whether it is something added to the coin, or altering the coin.

The picture s don't do it justice the metal has a copper hue to it and it feels like it's part of the coin and my when I look with my loop I see it has the copper color inbeded in the extra metal like specks

Kind of looks like someone torched it. The reverse is also showing near the bust. Obverse Liberty farther away to the left.
