Very nice @bate. My only question is whether the mintmark is repunched or the post broke off leaving a so-called "filled mintmark"? I just don't see any ghosting from the underlying mintmark or split serifs.

Close to, or is, an obverse Retained Cud below the bust. You will need a photo better showing the left contact mark between the die crack and the rim. It would not be a match for any known Retained Cud, nor a precursor to any known full Cud.
I am thinking that Bate has the beginning of a Retained Cud, because on the right of the Die Crack, I can see some displacement, which means that piece moved a little bit.
