Thanks, @nickelsguy. This novice understands the marker near the rim but I'm not picking out the problem with the ones in the date. I've "stared and compared" but no progress...what am I missing?

The I fonts appear higher than the 6 to me.

Note the C in D. G. That's what I use as a marker. I don't know if such a variety exists on real coins, it would be quite rare, but all those available from the unmentionable site have this feature.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning... -from PCGS website
