I came across this 1971D penny today that only weighs 2.95 grams. It looks normal and is non-magnetic. Can someone give me info on this coin please? Will try to post a picture.

And please preview your post/pictures to be sure the images are rotated correctly.

When you take an image, make sure to take one with the edges showing next to each other to see if the thickness is the same. That would be helpful.

Minimum legal weight for a new copper cent is 2.98 grams Yours is only .03 grams light. Not significantly underweight, especially if it has any wear.
